Split AC
The standard choice for bedrooms, cabins and small offices. Inverter units are now the sensible default in Kerala — the running-cost difference against a fixed-speed unit typically pays back the premium within a couple of seasons at normal usage.
Cassette AC
Ceiling-mounted with four-way discharge. Suits open offices, restaurants and showrooms where a wall unit would be visually intrusive and where even air distribution across a wide floor plate matters.
Ductable AC
Concealed above the false ceiling with supply air distributed through ducting to grilles or diffusers. The right answer where you want conditioned air in several rooms from one unit and no visible equipment.
Floor-Standing AC
High-capacity units for halls, banquet spaces and areas needing rapid pull-down.

Correct Sizing Matters More Than Brand
The most common problem we encounter on existing installations in Thrissur is a unit sized by a rule of thumb — one ton per 120 square feet, or whatever the previous vendor used.
That rule ignores everything that actually determines cooling load: which direction the room faces, how much glass it has and whether that glass is shaded, whether the roof above is exposed concrete, how many people occupy the space, and what equipment runs inside it. A west-facing room with large windows can need close to double the tonnage of a north-facing room of identical floor area.
Undersize the unit and it runs continuously without holding setpoint. Oversize it and it short-cycles — cooling the air quickly but never running long enough to pull moisture out, which leaves the room cold and clammy. That is a common cause of complaints about a new AC that "doesn't feel right".
We calculate the load properly before quoting. It takes an extra site visit, and it is free.
